Yoga to me means so many things to me. I've found is a tool that you can use to learn to sit with and tune into sensation in our bodies. With yoga as the tool to To begin to shift into the observer role in the mind cultivating a stronger self awareness and a much more clear and focused mind. Yoga to me means mental clarity and more balanced relationship of the mind and body. Its medicine!
Yoga completely transformed and changed my life. I know I wouldn't be the person I am today without it. I have been able to cultivate that strong self awareness during my practice through observation of breathe, sensation in my body and mindful movement. As well as build a deeper understanding and relationship to myself.
What inspired me to be a yoga teacher was that I wanted to give back what yoga gave to me. Inner peace and a deeper understanding and awareness of myself and others. My constant intention when I teach is to make yoga accessible for every body. Functional, mindful movement is what inspires my classes and my goal is for you to leave class feeling more connected to yourself.
I have completed my 200hr YTT back in 2013 . Over the years I've completed yoga teacher tune ups, workshops, trainings and of course self study to build and continuously evolve my teaching and my own practice as well.
